Durabilt Folding Travel Iron Detachable Cord Light Weight Quick Heat USA 1944
Vintage, Antique, 1944 Durabilt Personal Folding Travel Electric Iron with a detachable cord is light weight and quick to heat.
The top has minor marks but everything works great. The dial turned to the left is 110 volts, turned to the right 220 volts AC or DC. The surface plate has scratches and pitting here and there (doesn't effect ironing). (see pictures) Was used for
all personal pressing needs; rayons, cottons, silks and woolens.
Tucks away neatly in suitcase or dresser. The iron heats up at a rate of 100 degrees per minute.
Do not leave current on when not in use.
It has a folding light brown wooden handle and a detachable cord that both fit nicely into it’s original
faded, well worn, (72 yrs),
rose colored, plaid lined traveling bag with a cord drawstring metal closure at the top. (see pictures)
